Giant Rooks in Philadelphia

Giant Rooks are a German indie-rock and indie-pop band formed in Hamm in 2014 and fronted by singer Frederik Rabe. Their catalogue includes the albums Rookery and How Have You Been?, the songs “Wild Stare” and “Morning Blue,” and a cover of Suzanne Vega’s “Tom’s Diner.” The Rookery Tour took the band through clubs and theatres in Europe and North America in 2022. They returned to both markets for How Have You Been? The Tour in 2024, the same year they performed at Coachella. Germany is their central live market, while repeated headline tours have also taken Giant Rooks through the United States and Canada.
