Giles Corey in Raleigh

Giles Corey is the solo project of American musician Dan Barrett, a Glastonbury, Connecticut artist who is also one half of Have a Nice Life. He began the project as an outlet for country music, and folk later became another influence, citing Hank Williams, Johnny Cash and Merle Haggard. The self-titled Giles Corey appeared in 2011 accompanied by a book; later releases include Deconstructionist and Hinterkaifeck. Live in the Middle of Nowhere documents a Giles Corey performance at the Enemies List Home Recordings warehouse in Meriden, Connecticut. Giles Corey has played Hamden repeatedly and has also performed in Raleigh and Providence.

Kathryn Mohr is an Oakland-based songwriter and field recordist who makes experimental electronic folk using voice, guitar, synthesizers and environmental recordings. Pitchfork Music Festival London included Kathryn Mohr in its 2025 lineup at EartH Theatre.
