About Gin Wigmore
Gin Wigmore is a New Zealand singer-songwriter, born in Auckland in 1986, whose music draws on blues rock, soul and alternative pop. Her gravelly voice is central to songs including “Black Sheep,” “Man Like That,” “Oh My” and “Written in the Water,” while her albums include Holy Smoke, Gravel & Wine and Blood to Bone.
In 2013, Gin Wigmore performed on the Vans Warped Tour and later opened U.S. dates for Phillip Phillips. She subsequently toured behind Blood to Bone, playing clubs and theatres across North America, Europe, Australia and New Zealand.
Her festival appearances have included SXSW in Austin and Bluesfest in Byron Bay.
