Girls In Hawaii in La Rochelle

Girls In Hawaii are a Belgian indie-rock band formed in Braine-l’Alleud. Their guitar-led indie pop first reached a wider audience through the album From Here to There and songs including “Found in the Ground” and “Bees and Butterflies”; later records include Plan Your Escape, Everest and Nocturne. Girls In Hawaii toured European clubs and festivals after From Here to There, including an appearance at Rock Werchter. Following a hiatus after the death of drummer Denis Wielemans, they returned to performing in 2013 around Everest and resumed concert dates in Belgium and France, including Dour Festival.
