Glen Phillips is an American singer-songwriter and guitarist, born in 1970, and the lead singer of Toad the Wet Sprocket. His writing for the band includes “All I Want” and “Walk on the Ocean,” while his solo catalogue includes the albums Abulum, Winter Pays for Summer and Swallowed by the New. The 2003 album Live at Largo documents his solo stage work at the Los Angeles venue. After releasing the collaborative album Mutual Admiration Society in 2004, Phillips toured the project with Nickel Creek, performing its songs alongside Chris Thile, Sara Watkins and Sean Watkins.
