About Gloryhammer
Gloryhammer is a Scottish power-metal band formed in 2010. Its fast, melodic songs tell a continuing fantasy and science-fiction saga, developed across albums including Tales from the Kingdom of Fife, Space 1992: Rise of the Chaos Wizards and Return to the Kingdom of Fife. “Angus McFife,” “Universe on Fire” and “Hootsforce” are among its signature tracks.
In 2013, Gloryhammer supported Stratovarius on the European leg of the Nemesis tour after releasing its debut album. The band later performed at Wacken Open Air and Bloodstock Open Air, then co-headlined the Glory and the Beast tour in 2024 alongside Beast in Black and support act Brothers of Metal.
Gloryhammer concerts are full-band performances in costume, where the musicians embody characters from the albums’ storyline. The recurring battle between Angus McFife and Zargothrax carries that narrative onto the stage.
