Artists
Godsmack are an American hard-rock and alternative-metal band formed in Lawrence, Massachusetts, in 1995 and led by singer and guitarist Sully Erna. Their best-known work includes the albums Godsmack, Awake and Faceless, as well as the songs “Whatever,” “Voodoo,” “Awake” and “I Stand Alone.” Godsmack played Ozzfest in 1999 and returned in 2000. They later opened for Metallica on the Madly in Anger with the World Tour, while a 2018 co-headlining tour paired them with Shinedown. The band performs as an electric four-piece. A recurring concert feature is Batalla de los Tambores, a percussion duel between Sully Erna and drummer Shannon Larkin. Godsmack filmed an acoustic performance at the House of Blues in Las Vegas for An Evening with Godsmack. They recorded the concert portion of Live & Inspired at Detroit’s Fox Theatre.
Stone Temple Pilots are an American alternative-rock band formed in San Diego in 1989. The original lineup featured singer Scott Weiland, guitarist Dean DeLeo, bassist Robert DeLeo and drummer Eric Kretz. The albums Core and Purple established their catalogue through songs including “Plush,” “Creep,” “Vasoline” and “Interstate Love Song,” while Tiny Music... Songs from the Vatican Gift Shop expanded their sound into psychedelic rock and power pop. The band reunited with Weiland in 2008 for a North American tour that began at Rock on the Range in Columbus. After Jeff Gutt became lead singer, Stone Temple Pilots toured with Bush and The Cult on the Revolution 3 Tour in 2018. In 2024 they co-headlined with Live and performed Purple in full on the Jubilee Tour.
