Goldie in London

Goldie is a British producer, DJ and musician, born Clifford Joseph Price in Walsall in 1965. He helped bring jungle and drum and bass to album scale through his 1995 debut Timeless and its vocal-led track “Inner City Life,” and co-founded the Metalheadz label. In the mid-1990s, Goldie and Metalheadz held their Sunday Sessions at Hoxton’s Blue Note, nights closely associated with the development of drum and bass. For the twentieth anniversary of Timeless in 2015, he performed the album with the Heritage Orchestra at the Royal Festival Hall. Goldie has played club sets at Fabric and festival sets at Glastonbury Festival.
