Gonzalo Hermida in Arroyo de la Encomienda

Gonzalo Hermida is a Spanish singer-songwriter and composer from Cádiz who performs melodic pop with touches of flamenco. He is known for the album Ignífugo, the song “Quién lo diría,” and for writing songs recorded by artists including Malú, India Martínez and Antonio José. In 2022, Gonzalo Hermida entered Spain’s Eurovision selection with “Quién lo diría,” but a positive COVID-19 test prevented him from appearing onstage, so the official video represented his entry in the semifinal of Benidorm Fest.
