Goodbye Mr MacKenzie are a Scottish rock band formed in Bathgate in 1981. Their alternative rock and new-wave catalogue includes the single “The Rattler” and the debut album Good Deeds and Dirty Rags. Shirley Manson played keyboards and sang backing vocals in the group before later fronting Garbage. The Good Deeds and Dirty Rags 30th Anniversary Tour returned the band to the stage in 2019 and featured the debut album performed in full. The tour included a concert at Barrowland Ballroom in Glasgow.
