Gospellers are a Japanese five-member vocal group formed at Waseda University in 1991. They perform R&B-influenced pop and a cappella, making their major-label debut with “Promise” and becoming known for songs including “Towa ni,” “Hitori” and “Mimosa.” The long-running Gospellerszaka Tour series has taken the group through concert halls across Japan. Anniversary productions included G10 and, later, G25; their programs combine unaccompanied five-part singing with songs supported by instrumental backing. Their major-venue history also includes concerts at Nippon Budokan.
