Kaela Kimura in Hiroshima

Kaela Kimura is a Japanese pop-rock singer and songwriter, born in Tokyo in 1984. She made her recording debut with “Level 42” in 2004 and is known for songs including “Rirura Riruha” and “Butterfly,” the latter becoming closely associated with weddings in Japan. Her 2007 Scratch tour concluded at Nippon Budokan. Two years later, she celebrated the fifth anniversary of her debut with GO!5!KAELAND at Yokohama Red Brick Park, and in 2014 she marked ten years with GO!GO!KAELAND at Yokohama Arena.
