Artist
Gotthard are a Swiss hard-rock band formed in Lugano in 1992 by guitarist Leo Leoni and vocalist Steve Lee. Their catalogue includes the albums Homerun and Lipservice, while “Heaven,” “Anytime Anywhere” and “Lift U Up” became signature songs. Nic Maeder joined as lead singer after Lee’s death. The band documented its 1997 acoustic concerts on the live album D-Frosted. During the Lipservice era, Gotthard recorded the 2005 Hallenstadion concert in Zurich for Made in Switzerland, then returned to European stages after Maeder joined. Nic Maeder fronted the subsequent Firebirth and Bang! tours.
