Gowan in Mississauga

Gowan is a Scottish-born Canadian rock singer, songwriter and keyboardist, born in Glasgow in 1956. Also known as Lawrence Gowan, he established his solo career through the album Strange Animal and songs including “A Criminal Mind,” “(You’re a) Strange Animal” and “Moonlight Desires.” He later became the keyboardist and one of the lead vocalists of Styx. Gowan joined Styx in 1999 and became part of the band’s touring lineup for arena, theatre and festival concerts. He has also kept his solo work on Canadian stages, including a 30th-anniversary tour built around Strange Animal.
