Grand Corps Malade in Prilly

Grand Corps Malade is the stage name of Fabien Marsaud, a French slam poet and songwriter born in 1977 in Le Blanc-Mesnil. His 2006 debut album, Midi 20, includes “Les Voyages en train” and “Saint-Denis”; his other known works include “Roméo kiffe Juliette” and “Mais je t’aime,” recorded with Camille Lellouche. In 2006, Grand Corps Malade performed material from Midi 20 at La Cigale in Paris, an early concert-hall landmark after his beginnings at slam nights. He later brought the Mesdames tour to Accor Arena, presenting the album’s duets with a live band.
