Grausame Töchter in Berlin

Grausame Töchter are a German band formed in Hamburg in 2009 by vocalist Aranea Peel and musician-producer Gregor Hennig. Their music draws on EBM, dark electro, industrial rhythms and cabaret, while albums including Mein eigentliches Element and Vagina dentata established the group’s confrontational aesthetic. Grausame Töchter have presented their theatrical stage production at Wave-Gotik-Treffen in Leipzig and M’era Luna in Hildesheim. These festival appearances sit alongside the band’s concerts in clubs and theatre-sized venues across Germany. The show combines electronic music and live percussion with choreography, costumes and performance art. Vocals and theatrical action are led by Aranea Peel.
