Great White & Slaughter in Fort Lauderdale

Great White is an American hard-rock band formed in Los Angeles in 1977. Blues-based guitar work and melodic metal brought the band a broad audience through the albums Once Bitten and ...Twice Shy, and songs including “Rock Me,” “Save Your Love” and its cover of Ian Hunter’s “Once Bitten, Twice Shy.” In 1984, Great White opened North American dates on Judas Priest’s Defenders of the Faith Tour. Three years later, the band supported Whitesnake on arena dates while touring Once Bitten, followed by its own theatre and arena concerts after ...Twice Shy. Great White has also performed at Rocklahoma in Pryor and M3 Rock Festival in Columbia, two recurring events devoted to hard rock and metal.

Slaughter is an American hard-rock and glam-metal band formed in Las Vegas in 1988 by vocalist and guitarist Mark Slaughter and bassist Dana Strum. The debut album Stick It to Ya established the group through songs including “Up All Night,” “Fly to the Angels” and “Spend My Life.” In 1990, Slaughter opened arena shows on Kiss’s Hot in the Shade Tour. The band later joined Rock Never Stops package tours and has performed at Maryland’s M3 Rock Festival.
