Greenleaf are a Swedish stoner-rock band formed in 1999 by guitarist Tommi Holappa and fellow musicians from the country’s heavy-rock scene. Their music is built on thick guitar riffs, psychedelic passages and hard-rock vocals, heard across albums including Trails & Passes, Rise Above the Meadow, Hear the Rivers and Echoes from a Mass. With vocalist Arvid Hällagård in the lineup for Trails & Passes, Greenleaf developed from a studio-centered project into an active touring band, taking their records through European clubs. Their festival history includes appearances at Desertfest Berlin and Freak Valley Festival.
Howling Giant is an American heavy psychedelic rock band formed in Nashville in 2014. Its music draws on stoner rock, doom metal and space rock, and the band is known for the Black Hole Space Wizard EPs and the albums The Space Between Worlds and Glass Future. Howling Giant supported The Sword on a US tour and later joined Elder for a North American run. The band has also taken its club show to Europe and performed at Desertfest London.
