Artist
Gregory Alan Isakov is a South African-born American singer-songwriter who was born in Johannesburg in 1979 and raised in Philadelphia. He writes indie folk and Americana shaped by acoustic arrangements, and is known for albums including This Empty Northern Hemisphere, The Weatherman, Evening Machines and Appaloosa Bones. His best-known songs include “The Stable Song,” “Big Black Car” and “San Luis.” After touring behind The Weatherman, Gregory Alan Isakov recorded a 2016 album with the Colorado Symphony and performed its orchestral arrangements in concert. He later took Evening Machines and Appaloosa Bones into theatres and amphitheatres, while his concert history in Colorado includes repeated headline dates at Red Rocks Amphitheatre.
