Gretchen Wilson is an American country singer-songwriter, born in Pocahontas, Illinois, in 1973. She became known through “Redneck Woman” and her 2004 debut album, Here for the Party; later releases included All Jacked Up and One of the Boys. In 2004, Gretchen Wilson took her debut songs on the road as an opening act for Brooks & Dunn and Montgomery Gentry. The following year she joined Kenny Chesney’s Somewhere in the Sun Tour and performed at Live 8 in Philadelphia. In 2012, she toured American amphitheatres with ZZ Top and 3 Doors Down on the Gang of Outlaws Tour.
