Gruff Rhys Tickets & 2026–2027 Tour Dates

Gruff Rhys is a Welsh singer-songwriter, born in Haverfordwest in 1970, who first became known as the frontman of Super Furry Animals. He is also one half of the electronic duo Neon Neon, while his solo work ranges across indie rock, folk and pop in Welsh and English. His solo catalogue includes Candylion, Hotel Shampoo and Seeking New Gods, as well as the song “Shark Ridden Waters.”

The American Interior tour paired songs with Rhys’s account of the Welsh explorer John Evans, a story he also developed as an album, book and film. In 2018, he presented the orchestral arrangements of Babelsberg alongside the BBC National Orchestra of Wales at the Wales Millennium Centre in Cardiff.
