Guido Weijers in Almere Stad

Guido Weijers is a Dutch comedian and cabaret performer, born in Boxmeer in 1977. His best-known format is the Oudejaarsconference, a comic review of the departing year, while Masterclass Geluk developed his recurring interest in happiness and human behaviour. In 2000, Guido Weijers won the audience prize at Cameretten. He followed the competition with his first full-length theatre programme, Oxymoron, then toured Dutch theatres with successive solo shows including Myosotis and Xipnao. His later stage work has included further year-end conferences and the theatre tour Momentum.
