Guildo Horn & Die Orthopädischen Strümpfe is a German schlager and pop act led by singer and entertainer Guildo Horn, the stage persona of Horst Köhler. The group is known for theatrical reinterpretations of schlager songs and for “Guildo hat euch lieb!”, Germany’s entry at the 1998 Eurovision Song Contest, written by Stefan Raab under the name Alf Igel. Horn performed “Guildo hat euch lieb!” at the National Indoor Arena in Birmingham, backed by Die Orthopädischen Strümpfe. The group has also staged recurring Christmas concerts in German theatres under the title Weihnachten mit Guildo.
