Guilherme Arantes in Aracaju

Guilherme Arantes is a Brazilian singer-songwriter, pianist and keyboardist, born in São Paulo in 1953. After playing in the progressive-rock group Moto Perpétuo, he began a solo career built around melodic pop and MPB. His best-known songs include “Meu Mundo e Nada Mais,” “Planeta Água,” “Amanhã,” “Cheia de Charme” and “Um Dia, Um Adeus.” The live album Guilherme Arantes Ao Vivo documented his concert repertoire, bringing together songs from across his solo catalog. He later revisited that body of work in the audiovisual project Intimidade, a performance centered on his voice and keyboards.
