About Guitar Wolf
Guitar Wolf is a Japanese garage-punk trio formed in Nagasaki in 1987. The band calls its distorted, high-speed rock “jet rock ’n’ roll” and is known for albums including Wolf Rock!, Missile Me and Jet Generation. Its members also played versions of themselves in the zombie film Wild Zero.
In the 1990s, Guitar Wolf toured the United States after Goner Records issued Wolf Rock!, and club tours in Europe followed. The trio later performed at SXSW in Austin and Gonerfest in Memphis.
