Artist
Gutalax is a Czech goregrind band formed in 2009, known for guttural vocals, compact grindcore songs and grotesque toilet humour. Its albums include Shit Beast, Shit Happens and The Shitpendables. Gutalax played Obscene Extreme in Trutnov in 2014 and returned for later editions of the festival. By 2022, the band was also performing at Wacken Open Air, bringing its goregrind set to a major European metal audience. The group performs as a full band in white coveralls, using toilet brushes, rolls of toilet paper and inflatable toilet-themed props as recurring parts of the show. A 2022 performance at Hellfest in Clisson documented that format.
