Guy Montgomery in Sydney

Guy Montgomery is a New Zealand comedian, writer and podcaster known for co-hosting The Worst Idea of All Time with Tim Batt, appearing on Taskmaster New Zealand and creating Guy Montgomery’s Guy Mont-Spelling Bee. His comedy often builds elaborate arguments out of wordplay, awkward social rules and deliberately illogical premises. Guy Montgomery’s Guy Mont-Spelling Bee began as a live panel game in which comedians spell words and contend with eccentric rules; it was later adapted for television in New Zealand and Australia. He also performs solo stand-up, including appearances at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival and Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
