Guy Penrod in Liberty

Guy Penrod is an American Southern gospel singer, born in 1963, who is best known for his long tenure as a lead vocalist with the Gaither Vocal Band. His repertoire includes gospel standards such as “Because He Lives” and “Yes, I Know,” while his solo catalog includes the albums Breathe Deep, Hymns and Worship. As a member of the Gaither Vocal Band, he performed in the Gaither Homecoming concert series and its widely distributed concert videos. After beginning his solo career, he headlined his own gospel concerts and made repeated guest appearances at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville.
