Artist
hackedepicciotto is a Berlin-based German-American experimental duo formed by Alexander Hacke of Einstürzende Neubauten and multidisciplinary artist Danielle de Picciotto. Albums including Menetekel, The Current, The Silver Threshold and Keepsakes set spoken voice and acoustic instruments against drone, industrial electronics and heavy bass. The duo have toured material from their records through European clubs, theatres and experimental-music festivals. Their concerts are multimedia performances built around Danielle de Picciotto’s hurdy-gurdy, autoharp and spoken word, plus bass, guitar and electronics played by Alexander Hacke.
