Hak Baker is a British singer-songwriter and rapper raised on the Isle of Dogs in East London. His music pairs acoustic folk guitar with rap-shaped storytelling and soul, heard on the EPs Misfits and Babylon and the debut album World’s End FM. “Telephones 4 Eyes,” “Windrush Baby” and “Dopehead” are among his best-known songs. In 2023 he performed at Glastonbury Festival, then followed the release of World’s End FM with a headline show at KOKO. Those concerts placed the album’s songs in a live setting built around Baker’s voice, guitar and band at KOKO.
