First Aid Kit is a Swedish folk duo formed in Stockholm in 2007 by sisters Klara and Johanna Söderberg. A filmed cover of Fleet Foxes’ “Tiger Mountain Peasant Song” brought them early attention, while albums including The Lion’s Roar, Stay Gold and Ruins established their close harmonies and indie-folk songwriting. Their best-known songs include “Emmylou” and “My Silver Lining.” In 2015, the sisters performed “Emmylou” for Emmylou Harris at the Polar Music Prize ceremony in Stockholm. Two years later, they presented a tribute to Leonard Cohen at the Royal Dramatic Theatre; recordings from those concerts were subsequently released as Who by Fire. First Aid Kit played Coachella in 2012, and later festival appearances included Glastonbury in 2017 and 2023.
