HammerFall & Evergrey in West Hollywood

HammerFall are a Swedish heavy and power metal band formed in Gothenburg in 1993 by guitarist Oscar Dronjak. Their debut album, Glory to the Brave, was followed by Legacy of Kings and Renegade; “Hearts on Fire” and “Blood Bound” became enduring parts of their catalogue. A 2003 concert at Lisebergshallen in Gothenburg was documented on the live release One Crimson Night. In 2022, HammerFall toured with Helloween under the United Forces banner, and the itinerary continued into 2023 with dates in Europe and North America. HammerFall have also returned to large outdoor metal gatherings, performing at Wacken Open Air in Germany and Sweden Rock Festival in Sölvesborg.

Evergrey is a Swedish progressive metal band formed in Gothenburg in 1995 by singer and guitarist Tom S. Englund. The band is known for the albums In Search of Truth, Recreation Day and The Inner Circle, and for songs including “A Touch of Blessing” and “Monday Morning Apocalypse.” In 2004, Evergrey filmed the concert later released as A Night to Remember at Storan Theatre. During 2020, the band returned to the concert-film format for a streamed performance that became Live: Before the Aftermath, recorded at Pustervik. Outside Sweden, the band has crossed the Atlantic for ProgPower USA in Atlanta and performed at Graspop Metal Meeting in Dessel.
