Hang Massive are a British-Swedish instrumental duo formed in 2010 by Danny Cudd and Markus Offbeat. They make ambient music centred on the handpan and became known through the 2011 performance video “Once Again”; their albums include Distant Light and Luminous Emptiness. The Luminous Emptiness tour translated the duo’s 2018 album into an audiovisual concert built around interlocking handpan parts and electronic textures. Hang Massive later developed that format for performances of The Last Dance.
