Hans Söllner is a German singer-songwriter, born in Bad Reichenhall in 1955, who performs folk and reggae songs in Bavarian dialect. His anti-authoritarian writing and social commentary are central to records including Endlich eine Arbeit, Hey Staat! and Babylon. Since the 1980s, Hans Söllner has played theatres, cultural centres and festivals in Germany and Austria. His concerts have established two formats: solo performances centred on voice, guitar and harmonica, and reggae-band sets with Bayaman'Sissdem.
