About Harlequin
Harlequin is a Canadian rock band formed in Winnipeg in 1975 by singer George Belanger and guitarist Glen Willows. The group plays melodic hard rock and album-oriented rock, and is best known for “Innocence,” “Thinking of You,” “Superstitious Feeling” and “I Did It for Love,” drawn from albums including Victim of a Song, Love Crimes and One False Move.
After Victim of a Song, Harlequin toured the Canadian rock circuit while Love Crimes and One False Move supplied more material for its concerts. George Belanger has led later lineups of the band, which continues to perform in theatres, casinos and at outdoor festivals, including Casino Rama Resort in Orillia.
