Artists
Hawthorne Heights are an American emo and post-hardcore band formed in Dayton, Ohio, in 2001. They became known through the album The Silence in Black and White and songs including “Ohio Is for Lovers” and “Niki FM”; its follow-up, If Only You Were Lonely, produced “Saying Sorry.” The 2005 Never Sleep Again Tour paired Hawthorne Heights with co-headliner Silverstein, and the band then led the Nintendo Fusion Tour in 2006. Later anniversary tours centered on complete performances of The Silence in Black and White and If Only You Were Lonely in clubs and theatres. Hawthorne Heights have made repeated appearances on the Vans Warped Tour and later performed at When We Were Young in Las Vegas. The band also founded the touring Is for Lovers festival and continues to headline it.
Creeper are an English rock band formed in Southampton in 2014. They play punk and gothic rock shaped by theatrical horror imagery. The early EP The Callous Heart and debut album Eternity, in Your Arms introduced songs including “Misery” and “Hiding with Boys”; later albums include Sex, Death & the Infinite Void and Sanguivore. At KOKO in London in 2018, Creeper ended a headline show by announcing their departure and then disappeared from public view. Exactly one year later, they returned with a surprise performance at 229. The 2022 When the Sun Comes show closed the Sex, Death & the Infinite Void era at the Roundhouse.
