Helene Bøksle in Lillehammer

Helene Bøksle is a Norwegian singer and actress, born in Mandal in 1981, who performs traditional Norwegian folk music and pop. Her albums include Elverhøy, Morild, Det hev ei rose sprunge and Svalbard. She sang on the soundtrack to Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures, contributed vocals to Secret Garden’s Inside I’m Singing, and entered Melodi Grand Prix 2011 with “Vardlokk.” At 13, Helene Bøksle sang at a Nobel Peace Prize ceremony. She later reached the final of NRK’s televised talent contest Kjempesjansen.
