Hilight Tribe in Clermont-Ferrand

Hilight Tribe are a French electronic group formed in 1999 that plays “natural trance,” building psychedelic trance around live percussion, bass, guitar, didgeridoo and vocals. The group is best known for “Free Tibet,” which also reached psytrance audiences through a remix by Vini Vici, and for tracks including “Esperanza.” Hilight Tribe have performed their live-band trance set at Boom Festival and Ozora Festival. Their concerts place electronic sequences beside instruments played onstage, and the group has carried that format into major concert halls, including a headline show at L’Olympia in Paris.
