Himesh Reshammiya in Guwahati

Himesh Reshammiya is an Indian singer, composer and actor, born in Mumbai in 1973. He began composing for Hindi cinema with Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya and became known as a vocalist through songs including “Aashiq Banaya Aapne,” “Jhalak Dikhla Jaa” and “Tera Suroor.” His first studio album, Aap Kaa Surroor, extended that sound into Hindi pop. In 2006, the Aap Kaa Surroor tour took his film songs and independent material to audiences outside India, including concerts at Wembley Arena in London and the Heineken Music Hall in Amsterdam.
