Hiroshi Miyama is a Japanese enka singer from Kochi Prefecture, born in 1980. He made his recording debut in 2009 with “Hitokoi Sakaba”; his best-known songs also include “Oiwakiyama.” In 2015, he made his first appearance on NHK Kōhaku Uta Gassen. Beginning in 2017, several of his performances there have featured a group kendama challenge: a line of participants attempts the same trick in sequence as he sings. Successful editions of the challenge have been certified by Guinness World Records.
