Horkýže Slíže are a Slovak punk-rock band formed in Nitra in 1992. Humour and wordplay run through albums such as Kýže sliz, Alibaba a 40 krátkych songov and Ritero Xaperle Bax; their best-known songs include “Malá Žužu,” “L.A.G. Song” and “Silný refrén.” Horkýže Slíže have made their home city part of their concert history through Slížovica, the band’s own festival in Nitra. Their touring has also crossed the Slovak-Czech border, including performances at Topfest in Slovakia and the Benátská! festival in Czechia.
