Artist
Hothouse Flowers are an Irish rock band formed in Dublin in 1985. Their roots-oriented sound draws on soul, folk and blues, and they became known through the 1988 debut album People and its song “Don’t Go.” Later releases included Songs from the Rain and their recording of “I Can See Clearly Now.” The band supported U2 on dates of The Joshua Tree Tour in 1987. They performed at Glastonbury Festival in 1989 and returned to a large outdoor festival stage at Woodstock ’94.
