Houndmouth is an American folk-rock band formed in New Albany, Indiana, in 2011. Their music draws on Americana, indie rock and alternative country, and “Sedona,” from the album Little Neon Limelight, is their best-known song. Their catalog also includes the albums From the Hills Below the City and Good for You. At SXSW in 2012, Houndmouth’s performances drew the attention of Rough Trade, which subsequently signed the band. They went on to open for Alabama Shakes and develop their own schedule of club and theatre concerts. The band has also performed at Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza and Newport Folk Festival.
