Howard Carpendale in Villingen-Schwenningen

Howard Carpendale is a South African-German singer, born in Durban in 1946, whose German-language pop and schlager career began in the 1960s. He became known for songs including “Ti Amo,” “Hello Again,” “Nachts, wenn alles schläft” and “Tür an Tür mit Alice.” In 2003, he marked his announced retirement with a farewell concert at the Kölnarena, then announced his comeback in 2007 and resumed performing. His later arena tours have included Das ist unsere Zeit, Die Show meines Lebens and Let's Do It Again, taking his catalogue through Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
