About Hugo Barriol
Hugo Barriol is a French indie-folk singer-songwriter, born in Saint-Étienne in 1990. He began as a drummer, later learned guitar, and developed his singing and songwriting while living in Sydney. Naïve Records released his self-titled debut EP in 2017 and his first album, Yellow, in 2019.
Hugo Barriol spent two years busking in Métro stations and won the RATP Metro Music Award in 2016. He performed at MaMA Festival in Paris the following year and at Solidays in 2019, then toured across continental Europe and the United Kingdom.
