About HWASA
HWASA is a South Korean pop singer and rapper who debuted with MAMAMOO in 2014 before beginning a solo career. She is known for the singles “Twit,” “Maria,” “I’m a B” and “I Love My Body,” while the EP María established the low, expressive vocal style of her solo work.
HWASA performed with MAMAMOO on the MY CON world tour in 2022 and 2023, including arena dates across Asia and the United States. In 2024, she launched her first solo fan-con tour, HWASA the 1st FANCON TOUR [Twits]; it opened at Daeyang Hall at Sejong University in Seoul and later played The Star Theatre in Singapore.
