I Set My Friends On Fire in Seattle

I Set My Friends On Fire is an American experimental post-hardcore band formed in Miami in 2007 by Matt Mehana and Nabil Moo. The group first drew attention through its cover of Soulja Boy’s “Crank That,” then released the album You Can’t Spell Slaughter Without Laughter, featuring “Things That Rhyme with Orange” and “Ravenous, Ravenous Rhinos.” Astral Rejection followed as the band pushed electronic programming further into its heavy sound. I Set My Friends On Fire performed on the Vans Warped Tour in 2009 as the debut album brought the group onto national touring circuits. In 2010, the band joined the Scream It Like You Mean It tour, whose lineup included Silverstein, Emery and Dance Gavin Dance.
