Ian Moss & Troy Cassar-Daley in Brisbane

Ian Moss is an Australian singer, songwriter and guitarist, born in Alice Springs in 1955, who became known as a founding member of Cold Chisel. He sang lead on the band’s “Bow River” and “My Baby,” while his solo career began with the album Matchbook and the singles “Tucker’s Daughter” and “Telephone Booth.” Ian Moss played Cold Chisel’s 1983 Last Stand tour, which concluded with a series of Sydney concerts recorded for film. He returned for the 2003 Ringside Tour and took part in the 2011 Light the Nitro Tour across Australia. In 2019, he revisited his solo debut on the full-band Matchbook 30th Anniversary Tour.

Troy Cassar-Daley is an Australian country singer-songwriter and guitarist, born in Sydney in 1969 and raised in Grafton, New South Wales. His 1995 debut album, Beyond the Dancing, began a catalogue that includes the songs “Little Things,” “Born to Survive” and “Dream Out Loud,” as well as the albums Home and The World Today. In 1994, Troy Cassar-Daley supported Johnny Cash during the American singer’s Australian tour. He later toured nationally with Adam Harvey after the pair recorded The Great Country Songbook, and they returned to the road together for Our Backyard.
