Ichiko Aoba in Kyoto

Ichiko Aoba is a Japanese singer-songwriter and classical guitarist, born in Urayasu in 1990. She debuted with Kamisori Otome and became known for intimate folk songs built around voice and nylon-string guitar. Her albums include 0, qp and Windswept Adan, which introduced broader chamber arrangements into her work. Ichiko Aoba documented an early overseas recital on Live at Milton Court, recorded in London with voice and guitar at the center of the performance. Live at Ginza Sony Park preserved another solo concert, while the expanded Windswept Adan program later reached Bunkamura Orchard Hall in Tokyo.
