About Ida Mae
Ida Mae are a British husband-and-wife duo formed by Chris Turpin and Stephanie Jean, both formerly of the rock band Kill It Kid. Their music draws on blues, folk and roots rock, led by intertwined vocals and Turpin’s guitar work. Their albums include Chasing Lights, Click Click Domino and Thunder Above You, while “My Girl Is a Heartbreak” and “Click Click Domino” are among their best-known songs.
Ida Mae toured North America and Europe as support for Greta Van Fleet around the release of Chasing Lights. They subsequently toured with Blackberry Smoke and Marcus King, bringing their duo format to clubs and theatres as well as larger concert stages.
